PNG water clarity

The above 2 images are just 2 examples of how clear the waters are around PNG. The bottom image is right up in the northern area near Keivieng and the top image is down near Luscerque Islands.

Christian and i went cruising around whilst the water was so still where I captured the top image. Mr. Bo Jangles was totally hooked with snorkelling at that stage and decided to prioritise his time doing that!

  1. How freakin sweet! I’d love to be snorkelling in the water in the first shot.

  2. Mate the second area was waycool as well! I saw a Silver tip shark, 2 turtles, a circling school of Baracuda, heaps of sea anemones and clown fish, giant clams, a cool looking star fish and a school of giant GT’s…and that was in the first 15 minutes! 🙂

  3. wow! wouldn’t mind being stranded on that top island for a few days 🙂

  4. Paradise!!!

  5. I snorkeled for 3 hours straight on Friday morning only interrupted by a quick dash back and forth from True North to set off and pick up a new group of snorkelers, I stayed on, could not get enough, take me back!! Gav had to literally fish me out of the water at the end, I did not want to go at all. Saw a shark and a sea snake and just had so much fun staring into the abyss. 30 degrees warm crystal clear water. Paradise Found
