Richmond Town River

Another tranquil shot from the sensationally beautiful old Richmond Town in Hobart.

When i first took this scene the sun was out in full force and there was a large very contrasty shadow over this shot.

I literally pinged this off as I was climbing in the car as the light was being filtered by a nice and handy cloud in front of the sun!

  1. Super sweet shot mate. Looks like your getting great use out of the tilt shift. Amazing detail.

  2. Picture postcard stuff, great composition Mark.

  3. Hey Mark,

Xavier was actually standing on that little platform on the right hand bank playing with the ducks when I was there. Its an awesome little spot isn’t? We even hit the bakery while we were there. Yummy food!

    • Yep very pretty Jamie and I was a bit sorry I did not know about it till I was on the way out, or I would have spent a fair bit more time there.

We too went to the bakery!

  4. Very nice Mark.

  5. Also looks like I am the 63000 visitor! Well done mate, do I get a prize??

  6. I like the softer pastels in this which don’t detract at all from the sharpness across the image and keep the impression of the coldness of the day.

  7. Very deep there Muzz…nice to hear from you mate!
