Sunset at Mt Hotham

We scoped this shot for quite a while and were nearly caught with our pants down as the colours appeared just around the corner from where we all were.

I initially thought I had failed the mission on this one, but it would appear that I managed to salvage this in amongst getting a full card at the critical moment!!!

  3. one of your best ones i rekon

  4. Very good one maet, well done with foreground, middle and background. If only those clouds, those super cool clouds, would climb over the top of that mountain and continue on the right side of the image 🙂

  5. love this one Mark.
great light and spot on composition.
my eye leads nicely from left to right straight up that valley- awesome clouds too. i think the fact they’re stuck behind the hills makes them more intriguing and interesting.

  6. The skeletons of the snowgums look unreal hey Marky ! I’ve just been working on a couple of mine from this spot but can’t seem to get them how I want. Top image mate 🙂
