Gotta love those Cyclones up North eh!

This last week has been amazing with some of the conditions created by the Cyclone up North and this evening was no exception.

I was sitting at the South Perth Yacht club having Chrissey drinks with some mates and as the sunset came on the sky just came alive!

Fortunately my trusty 1D was at my side and Vola! Hope you like it!

  1. And here I was 5mins away from you sitting at home looking up at the sky and kicking myself for not heading out.

All we get down here in Bunbury is blue skies!!! Boring.

  5. Nice one Mark.

It was pretty good out here as well but happy to watch it tonight and not shoot it.

Jamie , that’s Ben Knapinski your talking about , but you were close mate. πŸ™‚

  6. Yeah I know Ben, sort of!! Well my girlfriend knows his wife, but I don’t know him personally.
You seem to be getting good skies in Perth, and we getting bugger all dwn here, they disappear by the end of the day!!
    Awesome name Jamie!!

  7. Wauv, talk about being at the right spot at the right moment! Tropical wet sesason clouds on fire and in Perth no less. Nice one!

    • Thanks Bo…I am making a habit now of taking my camera everywhere and getting a bit of a reputation with mates for doing so..but it is paying off!

      Cheers,

      • That’s is the way to do it, I always say that the chances of capturing a great photo improve greatly if you actually bring a camera!

      • Ah….the words of a wise man indeed!

There is nothing worse than sitting somewhere when a cracking sunset or something presents itself and then DOH…no camera!

  8. Absolutely grouse shot! Like your blog too, one of my must reads…..
